Today I’m honored to be featured in Canadian Budget Binder‘s Making a Difference series. The series gives personal finance bloggers the opportunity to talk about how they hope and plan to make a difference to their readers. It’s a great way to find new blogs to follow!
If you found me over there, please say hello in the comments below. If you haven’t seen it yet…
Hi Mr. CBB and CBB readers, my name is Gary and I blog over at Super Saving Tips. I’ve been writing about personal finance topics and saving money for 2 years since my retirement at the ripe old age of 64.
I started out writing Super Saving Tips simply as a project to keep busy and just for fun. But quickly I realized that I had something to share and it’s rewarded me with good vibes. Doing something which I feel is helping people learn to deal with their finances and head up the road to financial wellness is great! Sometimes what I write is funny and sometimes it’s not, but there is always a lesson to be learned.
I have a lifetime of experience to share after nearly 45 years in business. First, I made my living in retail management, then I went into banking as a financial specialist. I learned many of the ways to build one’s net worth, cope with life’s roadblocks, and plan to be successful in achieving personal goals. In addition, I’ve always been a dedicated shopper and saver so I incorporate my advice and experience to help others save money.
